Event Information

On behalf of Australian Taekwondo Victoria, it is my pleasure and privilege to invite you and your club to participate in the 2026 ATV 3rd Championships & Selections (Poomsae). 

This competition will be held on: Sunday 23 August 2026, Parkville Stadium

This event is aimed to allow Victorian Taekwondo Athletes  to compete in a fun, safe and productive environment. The competition has three primary goals: 

• to provide competition experience in a fun, safe and productive environment for Victorian athletes
• to promote friendship and cooperation within the Victorian Taekwondo community
• to qualify athletes for the 2025 AT National Championships.

This competition is run in good faith and expects good sportsmanship and a bullying free environment.
ALL Coaches, Parents, Athletes and Spectators must comply with the code of conduct (included within this tournament pack). 

To participate, competitors must register before 2nd August 2026.

 

Please note:

• It is critical that all player registrations be completed BEFORE 2nd August 2026, 

• All athletes must be Australian Taekwondo practitioners and hold a National Athlete License,

• All enquiries MUST be made through coaches and instructors,

• We will not respond to any direct enquiries from parents / athletes or any Facebook messages,

• Participants claiming refunds must do so in writing at least one week prior to the competition date,

Eligible Competitors: To be eligible to contest at any Australian Taekwondo Championships, athletes must have
at all times acted in a proper manner and not have engaged in any conduct that would bring Taekwondo, our
sport or any of our staff into disrepute or censure.

Spectator Prices: $20 single, $40 whole family

We would like to once again thank all the clubs who enter their enthusiastic athletes. We also greatly appreciate the ongoing support of the Referees and Judges who officiate at these competitions and our wonderful volunteers who give up their time to ensure the smooth running of these events. Without the contributions of any of these groups, our competitions would not be a success.
