Performance Development Pathway Athlete Application 2026 (Poomsae) 

REGISTRATION CLOSES 31st December 2026

Overview:

The program is designed to enhance and uphold the high performance standards of our State Poomsae athletes. The ATV PDP (Poomsae) offers athletes ongoing state training at regional centres, state camps, funding opportunities and international exposure and scholarship opportunities to fund international events and training.

Applications close 31st December 2026. The registration will be closed earlier if it reaches up to 70 members. It is the Head Instructors responsibility to relay all information regarding the program to their athletes.

All athletes must seek the approval of their respective Head Instructor/s before registering.

There is a $195 (Early Bird) cost for 2026 until 30th November 2025, which will then be set at the full price of $230.
For colour belts, the program membership fee is $115 ($98 - Early Bird).
This cost will go to cover the cost of the training sessions, Medical Staff, Venues & all future events.
Included in this years PDP Registration, Athletes will recieve a PDP Team Attire (*Only people who register by 31 Dec 2025).

In previous years the program has successfully provided funding support for the 2024 Korean Open & Training in Korea to athletes who were committed to the program in 2023-2024.
2025 Program members will be going for the 2026 US Open & Training with funding provided.

With 2026 right around the corner, we are looking forward to a prosperous and event filled calendar. The PDP team will be focusing on the Korea Open Tour for 2026 (Calendar & Event details will be released soon).

We hope to continue providing opportunities for athletes to support their development through funding avenues in this year’s program.

Scholarship Funding Applications will be released in due course, with the full Australian Taekwondo Policy and selection criteria. Please note that should a member be eligible for later inclusion in a natinal high performance program that any funding sponsorship will ony be avaiable to those members that do not receive sponsorship funding through other sources.

Eligibility Criteria:

For athletes to be eligible they must:

• Be a registered Australian Taekwondo Athlete
• NOT currently taking part in the Performance Pathways Program or other High-Performance Programs
• Hold a National Athlete Licence (NAL)
• Have your Head Instructors Permission to join the program
• Be approved by the Australian Taekwondo Victoria Board of Directors based on the recommendation of State Poomsae Committee

Refund Policy:

• No Refunds will be given for removal from the program for non-attendance

9.00am - 10.00am (Colour belts) / 10.15am - 12.30pm (Black belts)
